We still live in 1984. Climate change is newspeak. It used to be global warming. Before that it was climate modification. The words keep changing, but the meanings stays the same. For some reason, an effort has been made to convince us that the coming period of Interglaciation was somehow not the long-term climate trend all along.

Anyone else notice the little bump temperature around ~12,000 years?

Notice how we hit the the CO2 mark but not temperature? But… But… I thought Anthropogenic… Climate Ch *chokes on tears* Change…

As a quick aside, we are certainly polluting the environment. Chlorofluorocarbons could have destroyed the world, that’s why the problem was acted upon almost immediately; considering how quickly most global problems are acted upon. Like Garbage Island out in the Pacific. Or Cancer Ash, I mean Coal Ash. The biggest problem caused by humans in terms of the environment is to the oceans. It largely consists of dumping chemicals, radioactive material, and acidification due to carbonic acid from human carbon emissions. Not to mention glyphosate, nitrate fertilizer, anti-biotics, and oil…

“Climate Change” or whatever newspeak term you want for the period of interglaciation it looks like we MISSED, was supposed to have happened by now. Remember how there was 2 miles of ice covering the literal place we live 20,000 years ago? That ice HAD BEEN receding for thousands of years UNTIL the Younger Dryas Impacts. Those really shook things up.

Pretty convenient human history with some temperature data that doesn’t make sense with newspeak. I mean Climate Change.
